CDV of Silas W. Wyman of the 60th Massachusetts Infantry, Company G. Identified in ink, ''S.W. Wyman,'' beneath image. Rifleman insignia clearly visible on Wyman's kepi. A 19 year-old student from Augusta, Maine, Wyman mustered into service on 19 July 1864 and mustered out on 30 November 1864 at Indianapolis, Indiana. A hundred day regiment, the 60th Massachusetts served guard and garrison duty and was commended by Indiana Governor Morton for its good deportment and efficient service. Image in overall very good condition.
