CDV of Salma Rogers of the 12th Wisconsin Infantry, Company I. The 12th Wisconsin served in the Southwest Expedition, the Siege of Vicksburg, and with Sherman's army throughout Atlanta. Rogers enlisted as a Second Lieutenant with the regiment, and upon mustering out, served as a Justice of the Peace. ''Salma Rogers'' written in ink and glued to verso of image. Verso also contains a canceled two-cent stamp. Measures 2.5'' x 4''. Overall, excellent condition.
