<hr align=left size=5 width=33% color=#778899>(1729-1796). Empress of Russia (1762-1796), better known as Catherine the Great. She continued the process of Westernization started by Peter the Great, and made Russia a formidable European power. She was the wife of Peter III who was deposed by Imperial Guards that placed her on the thrown. DS in Russian, 1p, small folio, n.p., May 10, 1763. Headed “<i>Imperial Decree to Our personal patrimonial chancery,” </i>the document commands that a payment for the year of 1500 rubles be made to an officer. In full,<i> “We most graciously command that for Colonel Timofey Yevreinov be produced from the revenues of patrimonial department of the said chancery one thousand five hundred rubles for the year, calculating the said production from the first of this May</i>.” Boldly signed. Fine.

11. All bidding is done in a competitive manner. The
winning bid will always be one bidding increment
over the second highest bid. The minimum
acceptable bid for any lot is 50% of the low
estimate given in the item description or $25,

12. Payment is expected immediately upon receipt of
invoice. All accounts are payable to Signature
House. Payment must be made in U.S. funds. Wire
transfer details are available upon request.
West Virginia residents will pay a sales tax of
6% unless a resale number is filed with us prior
to the closing date. For sales outside of the USA
a credit card is requested.

13. Shipment is made via U.S. Postal Service or
Airborne unless otherwise instructed. Handling,
shipping and insurance charges are added to the
invoice. Oversize and foreign shipments are subject

14. Golden Guarantee: All material is returnable within
seven days providing that it comes back in the same
condition. There is a lifetime guarantee on
authenticity to the original purchaser. The item(s)
