A nice carved walrus ivory L shaped handled cane. The two piece handle is 5" high x 3.5" long with front havingcarving in high relief of a fox head set in garter like motif with rose atop and hunters bag below. Mounted on a nicetapered malacca shaft with old replaced metal crutch type ferrule and 1" gilt collar. Total length 34". ProbablyContinental.Minor tight age lines in ivory, slight wear to original finish on shaft.(EST 300-400)
