A very nicely carved, probably European, walrus ivory-handled cane. The L-shaped, 2 piece ivory handle is 4" highx 3" long with a high relief carved head of a hunting dog with a hunter's pouch in mouth. Head in profile with asingle glass eye. Mounted on a nice tapered mahogany shaft with .25" nickel collar. Total length 35.75".Minor scratches to ivory, missing ferrule.(EST 300-400)
