CARVED HORSE HOOF DAGGER CANE
The handle of this concealed weapon is a hoof carved of horn. This hoof is unusual in being a split hoof with a shoewith tiny nails in the bottom and sides of the hoof. The 12.5" dagger has bluing on the top 8", with a blue designover another 1" of the steel blade. On the upper blue portion are 3 areas of gold floral design on each side. Thedagger resembles a triangle with a flattened point in cross-section. The ebonized hardwood shaft ends in a brassferrule. There is minor wear to finish of shaft, some wear to blade designs from slipping it in and out of the shaft;collar missing. Overall length, 35.25".Minor nick on end of hoof(EST 600-800)
