This finely carved ivory elephant head is 5.5" high and 1.5" wide at its maximum. It is attached to a shaft of leatherwashers on a steel shaft. The 1" ferrule is brass, with the end of the steel shaft forming the very terminus of thecane. Overall length is nearly 36." Age crack in ivory below trunk.One crack in ivory just below trunk(EST 600-800)
