The comical figure on this antler handle has a very large nose, bushy eyebrows, a bald pate, and has glass eyes. Thefigure makes an abbreviated "L" for the handle that is 4.25" high and just over 3" wide. A .75" wide silver bandjoins the character to a tapering malacca shaft. Ferrule is a replacement rubber crutch tip. Overall length, 33". Smallfilled area original to the carving; old split c. 1.5" long from the top of the shaft.(EST 600-800)
