"<i>Albert Camus</i>", 2pp. 4to., Paris, Apr. 30, 1946, a contract between Camus and the Society of Dramatic Authors and Composers concerning a stage production in Brussels of Camus' <i>Le Malentendu</i> (<i>The Misunderstanding</i>) in French, setting forth the fees and royalties to be paid to the author. At bottom Camus writes<i> "Read and approved Albert Camus</i>" (some blurring to last name), and additionally he has initialed the same holograph phrase at five other places on the contract.
