The terrific example offered here has it all - a striking arrow-like shape, dynamic and arresting; highly characterful regmaglypts, thumbprints caused by melting and burning during the meteorite's fall through the atmosphere, with narrow ridges casting contrasting shadows over its surface; and a beautifully warm patina, highlighted by faintly shimmering metallic peaks and ridges and grounded in the soft, warm earth-tones of rust-colored depressions scattered across the surface. The result is a superb natural sculpture, truly from out of this world.
