Lot of 14. 1) Grapevine Mining Company of Nevada; Incorporated August 22, 1905; Certificate No. 854 issued September 10, 1906 to E.L. Fink for 200 shares; signed by E.M. Borsford, President and Johnson, Secretary; printed by Goes; U/C. 2) Wild Rose Mining Company; Incorporated under the laws of South Dakota, 1906; Certificate No. 257 issued November 14, 1906 to W.W. Curtis for 100 shares; signed by W.B. Gray, President and U.V. Withie, Secretary; printed by Wood’s Red Seal Print, Los Angeles; not cancelU/C on reverse. 3) Death Valley-Arcalvada Consolidated Mines Company; Incorporated under the laws of Wyoming 1907; Certificate No. 3717 issued December 10, 1907 to Mrs. Hattie M. Dyer for 500 shares; signed by C.A. Tarbel, Vice President and J.F. Dawson, Secretary; no printer mentioned, U/C. The U/Cas located at Cima in San Bernardino County. According to an advertisement in the Western Investors Review, Vol. 14 in 1907/8 page 109, this was a consolidation of the Death Valley Gold Mining and Milling Company and the Arcalvada Mining and Milling Company. Chas. A. Tarbel, then the Treasurer and Fiscal Agent for the company claims that the “new” mining company is free of debt and all stockholders should transfer their certificates. The Mining and Scientific Press Vol. 104, January to July of 1912, page 290 mentions that waterpower has been developed and a mill built on the property. 4) Armargosa Mining and Milling Company; Incorporated under the laws of the State of California, February 27, 1897; Certificate No. 753 issued April 8, 1898 to C.E. Coloney for 1000 shares; signed by E.T. Loy, President and H.B. Eakins as Secretary; Leadfield Bonanza Mining Company check No. 97; unissued; 7.75" x 3.5”; glued to poster board backing. Printed by Goes; not cancelU/Cican GlU/C Vol. 9, July 1912 on page 11 states that this mining company as decreased its capital stock from $1 million to $50,000. By 1914, the company had forfeited its charter according to the Office of the State Controller. 5) Tecopa Consolidated Mining Company; Incorporated under the laws of South Dakota, January 7, 1907; Certificate No. 1606 issued June 11, 1910 to Charles E. Krauter for 100 shares; signed by Graves, Jr., Second Vice President and (illegible) Secretary; printed by the Union Litho Co., L.A.; U/C; were U/Cines loU/Cles southeast of Tecopa.
