c1980-This is a fine pencil and ink lithograph depicting a scene from the 1948 Warner Bros. production of The Treasure of Sierra Madre. The scene shows Humphrey Bogart, Tim Holt and Walter Huston. Huston, along with his son John who directed the film, won an Academy Award, as did John, making them the work was drawn and signed by the artist Lanse AKA G.F. Banse. Glen Fortune Banse (AKA Wayne Howell) has instructed several artists over the years, including Peter Max, Yanni Posnakoff, William Nelson (official artist of the 1976 Olympics) and Mr. Blackwell of Worst Dressed List fame. He has done several pieces featuring Hollywood legends like Tracy and Hepburn, John Wayne and Laurel and Hardy, among others. This particular piece measures 18”x 24” is matted and framed with an over all measurement of 24”x 30”. It’s signed and numbered 97 of 300. It`s in near new condition. HKA#64609
