1932-This is a window card for the 1932 western Law of the West, starring former matinee idol Bob Steele. The poster measures about 18”x 22” and is done in blacks, whites, grays and red. There are two 9” fold lines on the piece. Bob Steele was a star of “B” westerns back in the 1930s. As he got older, he began taking roles as the heavy in roles opposite Clint Eastwood, John Wayne and others. His most notable role for Baby-Boomers would be that as Trooper Duffy, who fought “shoulder to shoulder” with Davy Crockett and Jim Bowie at the Alamo on the mid-60s TV show “F Troop.” Sono Art World Wide Pictures later morphed into Monogram, which then became Republic Pictures. This poster is framed and matted and is a great piece of movie memorabilia, perfect for the film buff. HKA#64535
