C.S. Rosson & Co. best quality side lock ejector double barrel S x S shotgun in 28 gauge with game scene engraving, serial #3359. The gun shows 27" barrels with 2-3/4" chambers (out of proof) was originally 2-1/2" and has been opened. The left barrel is choked about modified, the right barrel about cyl. The left barrel measures about .38 and the right barrel measures about .30. The gun shows double triggers; auto ejectors and English style straight stock. The stock measures 14-1/2" to the end of the butt plate with a 2-1/2" drop at the heel, 1-7/8" drop at the comb. The heel shows a ¾" cast and toe ½" cast. The barrels are dated 1931and show a Rampant Horse St., Norwich address. The barrels show 90-95% original blue finish and the frame and side plates show 75-85% case hardening with some good rainbow colors. The trigger guard shows 90%drifting and toning original blue. The stocks have been professionally refreshed and refinished. The gun shows a Rosson's patent slide opening release instead of standard lever. The gun is very nicely engraved with
