Featured in this lot we have a collection of four framed Charlie Russell prints. The collection consists of four prints titled Smoking the Cattle Out of the Breaks, Wild Horse Hunters, A Rainy Morning in a Cowcamp, and Finding the Trail. Charles Marion Russell, born March 19th, 1864 in St. Louis Missouri and died on October 24, 1926 in Great Falls Montana. Russell is known for his paintings of cowboys, Indians, and western landscapes, as well as crafting bronze sculptures. The first print depicts three cowboys on horse back firing revolvers at the edge of a steep valley with a herd of cattle moving out the other side. The second print titled "Wild Horse Hunters" and shows a group of cowboys roping a herd of wild horses. The third piece is titled "A Rainy Morning In a Cowcamp" depicts a group of cowboys in yellow rain jackets as they break down camp in a rain storm. The fourth and final piece is titled "Finding the Trail" with the piece displaying six Native American hunters five on horse back and one walking off to the left. The prints are signed in the bottom left hand corner reading "C.M. Russell" dated with the buffalo skull design. The pieces show good condition overall with some light wear across the pieces. The largest piece measures 18 1/2" wide by 13 3/4" tall.
