Featured in this lot is a mid-century modern circa 1950's sterling silver raised double strand graduated concho / concha or ball cuff bracelet made in Taxco, Mexico. Hallmarks noted on the underside "TL-120 Mexico 925". This attractive Mexican sterling silver cuff bracelet is made with half balls and solid rope style center divider horizontally between the ball sections. It’s hard to think of a place in the world more famous for its beautiful silver jewelry than Taxco, Mexico. That’s no coincidence. Silver has a long and rich history in the city whose history extends back to well before Spanish colonization, and Taxco artisans are still considered some of the best in the world, like Melesio Rodriguez, Ignacio Gomez, and the Molina family.
