For your consideration are seventeen unopened medicine containers from various companies circa 1900-1910s. The companies included in this lot are as follows: Little Line S.B. Penick & Company Crude Drugs New York, N.Y., Parke, Davis & Company Detroit, Michigan, Allaire Woodward & Company Peoria, Illinois and Kemp & Lane Incorporated Le Roy, N.Y.. The medicines included in the lot are as follows: Hops N.F. (Humulus Lupulus), Hungarian Chamomile N.F. (Matricaria Chamomilla), Horehound, Prickly Ash (Xanthoxylum, U.S.P.), Skunk Cabbage (Ictodes Foetidus), Mullein Leaves, Wormwood (Absinthium), Lane's Tea, Red Clover (Trifolium Pratense) and Soap Tree Bark (Quillaya Saponaria). The medicines all come in their original, cardboard boxes and are unopened. They show good condition overall with slight wear present from their age and handling over the years, but no signs of damage or major wear is present. The boxes of medicine measure from 2" L x 2 5/8" W x 1 1/16" H to 3" L x 3 1/16" W x 1 15/16" H. The seventeen medicine boxes have a collective weight of 1 pound and 2 ounces.
