Also, a Solidus &#40;4.02 g&#41;, of <B>Theodosius II</B>, 402-450 AD. Struck 441-450 AD., Constantinople. Diademed and helmeted three-quarter facing bust, spear over shoulder. <I>Reverse:</I> Constantinopolis enthroned left, holding globus cruciger; poorly written inscription: IMP XXXXII COS XVII P P. RIC 285; DOCLR 423. Condition: Fine; with scratches and nicks.
