Certificate is housed in its original presentation folder and is accompanied by a February 29, 1972, TLS from White to Aldrin, which reads, in part: “Your retirement…concludes an outstanding military career of more than 20 years of loyal and dedicated service…The loyal and conscientious service you have rendered will remain as an inspiration for others to follow.” In fine condition.
