Butterfield Army Model percussion revolver, .41 cal., 7” octagon barrel, blue and case hardened finish, wood grips, #375. This gun is in overall fine condition showing approx. 65% original blue on barrel and cylinder with some erosions and pin prick pitting near the muzzle, taffy colored patina on brass frame and strong traces of case color on the loading lever; very good bore, crisp action, very good markings, very good to fine grips with matching serial numbers on the bottom of each grip, on the butt strap, barrel and loading lever. Approx. 640 of this model were manufactured between 1861 and 1862 and the Butterfield is considered by collectors as a Secondary U.S. Martial handgun. Est.: $3,500-$7,000.
