Interesting packet of biographical information related to a project between Crabbe and Contemporary Authors, consisting of seven total pages, each 8.5 x 11, dated to January and February 1977, including: a biography sheet filled out and signed at the conclusion in blue ballpoint by Crabbe, who lists his given name and the names of his immediate family members, his birth date and birthplace, education ("AB—University of S. California—1 yr. Law"), politics ("Republican"), religion ("Episcopal"), and home and office address. Under the career section, Crabbe lists his principal vocation as "Actor," and his principal business or institutional affiliations as "Cascade Industries—V. P., Bio Laboratory—Long Island, N. Y., 1956." Additionally, Crabbe notes "Swimming Hall of Fame, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla." in the awards section. A preceding two-page typed biography sheet bears a few handwritten emendations by Crabbe, who adds information to the “Sidelights” section: “Have completed some 85 college lectures on the movies of the 30’s, 40’s & 50’s—in conjunction with the nostalgia lectures am now lecturing on physical fitness and weight control for convention groups—most recently the annual conventions for Holiday Inns, Mechanical Association of America and Rockwell International—.” Also includes a copy of a letter from Contemporary Authors to Crabbe, a copy of a two-page book biography of Crabbe, and a dense bio sheet of numerous actors including Crabbe, with a few ink notations in an unknown hand, with Crabbe’s phone number penned on the reverse. All of the material is stapled together. In overall fine condition.
