Collection of four items: manuscript DS, signed “Benj Gratz,” five pages on three sheets, 7.5 x 13, July 10, 1814. Lengthy two-piece document concerning the sale of a property in Philadelphia belonging to the recently deceased James Hamilton. Signed on the final page by Gratz as a witness to a statement from William Meredith; original cabinet photo signed by Howard Colt; a one-page ALS signed by William Fairbairn sending thanks for sent photos; an AQS signed by George Francis Train on an off-white 3.5 x 2.25 card, which reads: “We are on the eve of terrible crash—ending in Revolution and ‘Psychic Dictatorship’; and a carte-de-visite of George Jones, signed on the reverse. In very good condition, with separations along folds of Gratz’s document.
