Iconic director and choreographer (1895–1976) whose lavish, elaborate dance numbers defined the look of movie musicals in the 1930s and 1940s. ALS signed “Buzz,” one page, 7.25 x 10.25, personal letterhead, January 2, 1964. Berkeley writes to Geri. In part: “Rici Dupont…said she…would get to reading the script within a few days and then she would call me on the phone so we could set up a date for her to hear the score. Ought to hear from her by the first of next week—when I have played [the] score for her and talked to her I will call you….” In fine condition.
