Lot of five items. 1) Checkbook for Bullfrog Bank and Trust Company. Includes 32 pages, blank, with three checks following each deposit/balance sheet. No vignette. Datelined Beatty, Nev. Printed by The Irwin-Hodson Co., Portland, Ore. Protective hard cover with red cloth peeling off front/back. First balance page torn at right edge, first 2 checks stained on right edge. 2) Prospectus and information on The Goldfield Sunrise Gold Mining Company, from Gardner & Co., Investment Securities, Colorado Springs, CO. The postal cover for the information is dated March 20, 1906, Colorado Springs, CO. The prospectus includes a typed letter dated 3/20/06 from Gardner & Co. The letter identifies the company's mine as the Goldfield Sunrise, its location on Bonanza Mountain near the Denver Mine ("the best mine on Bonanza Mountain"), and the strength of the organization (stock is non-assessable, no bonded indebtedness, no salaried officers, and no office expenses). A second form announces the financing of the Goldfield Sunrise property and includes tear-off coupons to purchase shares. The final advertisement lists the prices of several noteworthy Nevada mining stocks at their inception and the high point reached afterwards. It also discusses the importance to Bullfrog of the purchase of the Montgomery Shoshone from Bob Montgomery by Chas. M. Schwab for $5,000,000, as well as the upcoming introduction of the railroad to the Bullfrog district. It ultimately states that "there will be a a large tonnage out of Bullfrog. The Bullfrog mines will be heavy producers and large dividend payers. Now is the time to buy the stocks." 3)Cover for the letter/prospectus to Mr. H. F. Hutmann, of Savannah Georgia. Colorado Springs post mark, 20 March 1906 with two stamps, a red two cent George Washington and an orange two cent embossed white George Washington. Cancelled.
