This is a one-of-a-kind buffet. The very rare leaded glass doors are in the pattern of the double cross symbol for the city or Lorriane--"Croix de Lorraine." This double cross pattern became the symbol for DeGaulle's party during World War II. The buffet is richly carved from the crown to the base. Hunting patterns of quail and a rabbit adorm the bottom doors. The two drawers are also richly carved and the pulls are the faces of mountain cats. This is certainly a special piece.
