On the right is Mr. Goodman (Cody’s brother-in-law), 2nd from right Frank Grouard, scout and stage driver. Man without hat and wearing shotgun chaps and carrying a Colt Single Action, Frank Williams, then Mrs. Williams, some visiting priests and then to the left is Clarence Williams holding a rifle given to him by Buffalo Bill (we sold this rifle in Cody years ago); b) Cabinet card photo of Cody by Elmer Chickering, Boston (with backstamp), hand signed Compliments. W.F. Cody Buffalo Bill (month illegible) 8th/95 – to Mrs. Williams. Sharp, bright image; c) Cabinet by Stacy, standard image with some surface scratches, signed in ink on back Clarence. Clarence would later become one of the first directors of the Cody Stampede and a force in the town of Cody.
