Buddy and Vilma Ebsen Scrapbook and Unsigned Contract. Long before Hollywood beckoned, Buddy Ebsen and his younger sister Vilma were a famed singing and dancing musical comedy team, headlining such Broadway hits as Flying Colors (1932) and The Ziegfeld Follies of 1934. This handsome, leather-bound 12"x 14" scrapbook contains newspaper and press clippings on Buddy and Vilma, as well as an August 20, 1930, four-page unsigned contract between the Ebsens and producer Benny Davis. The many clippings cover Broadway, the 1939 New York World's Fair, summer stock -- a fascinating time machine back to a bygone show business era from a man who experienced it all. In Fine to Very Fine condition. From the Buddy Ebsen Estate.

Shipping: Books & Catalogs (view shipping information)
