One of the earliest and biggest of the rock ‘n’ roll stars, Holly died tragically in a plane crash February 3, 1959, en route to a concert. Original vintage Biggest Show of Stars for ’57 rock and roll show program (Fall Edition), 9 x 12, signed inside in blue ballpoint on their full-page photo and biography by Buddy Holly and Jerry Allison. Program is also signed inside by Chuck Berry, all four members of the Drifters, with one inscribing to Lolita, Bobby Parker, and Clarence Ford. In fine condition, with some expected handling wear, creasing and soiling to covers, and a uniform mild shade of toning to some of the inside pages. Signed images of Holly in this size are scarce!
