Original pink ticket stub for Alan Freed's Big Beat concert, 2 x 1.25, dated April 9, 1958. Also included is a clipped newspaper advertisement for the concert, 3.5 x 3, affixed to a pink album page that bears a collector’s date notation. Held at Ontario’s Windsor Arena, the concert featured a number of legendary performers, including: Buddy Holly and the Crickets, Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis, Frankie Lymon, and Screamin’ Jay Hawkins. Expected wear from use, adhesive remnants to reverse of ticket stub, and staple holes and paper loss to the album page, otherwise overall fine condition.
