<B>Buddy Ebsen's Stetson from</B></I> <B><I>Breakfast at Tiffany's.</B></I></B></I> Ranked by #61 on AFI's list of the Top 100 Romance Movies, <I>Breakfast at Tiffany's</B></I> has withstood the test of time as a classic of American cinema. The movie also gave Buddy Ebsen a career boost, with his small but effective role as "Doc Golightly" leading directly to his being cast as "Jed Clampett" on <I>The Beverly Hillbillies.</B></I> less than a year later. The rest, as they say, is history. This fine beaver Stetson was worn by Ebsen in each of his scenes in the movie; it is in Very Fine to Excellent condition with a few small areas of mild staining and discoloration, and has "Made by Stetson especially for Buddy Ebsen" embossed on the sweatband. Included with it are four b&w 8" x 10" stills from the movie featuring Ebsen wearing the hat, as well as a vintage copy of the soundtrack LP signed on the front cover by Ebsen in black felt tip (with some mild to moderate wear).
