<B>Buddy Ebsen's Brown Bowler with Green Band.</B></I> An extra-large, 100-percent wool, jaunty brown derby with a festive green band, and one of the many hats Buddy Ebsen kept in his personal wardrobe. The name "Morris" is stamped in the hat band. The hat has a 2"-long "scar" of spirit gum under the front brim -- a casualty, perhaps, resulting from belonging to an actor whose make-up sometimes included glued-on bushy eyebrows. Wear the hat at a rakish angle and no one will notice.
