<B>Buddy Ebsen's Boots, Worn in Two Western Films, with Signed Note.</B></I> A worn but still impressive pair of cowboy boots, accompanied by a 4" x 5.5" note bearing Buddy's Jed Clampett likeness and his handwritten message, "I wore these boots while doing a series of Westerns with Rex Allen at Republic Studios. Also in the feature picture <I>Mail Order Bride</B></I> at MGM. Buddy Ebsen." The lot also includes two stills, one in black and white and one in color, of Buddy in <I>Mail Order Bride</B></I> (1964). The Republic series Buddy refers to comprised five films, beginning with <I>Under Mexicali Stars</B></I> (1950) and ending with <I>Utah Wagon Train</B></I> (1951).
