His opened left hand is resting on his lap while his right hand points to the earth with outstretched fingers. Buddha used this gesture to call the earth to witness the truth of his words. The enlightened wears a pleated robe, which is adorned with floral motives and the hems are highlighted with glass and mirror stones. The robe covers the body right up to his right shoulder. Buddha has a serene facial expression with a slight smile. The head shows a semi-circular ushnisha, decorated with round glass stones.
