<B>Bryan and Sewall: A Rare 1896 Jugate Ribbon With "16 to 1" Clockface.</B></I> "16 to 1" was, of course, the rallying cry for Bryan's first presidential run. It referred to the ratio of silver to gold desired by the silver-producing western states where Bryan had a strong following.<BR>Various campaign items were produced employing the device of a clockface, with the time set at 16 minutes to 1:00. This is one of the nicest- and rarest. We can't recall having seen more than couple of others over the years. Condition is nice, with some light, general "aging" which detracts minimally.
