German-born conductor and composer (1876-1962). ALS in German, one page, 5.75 x 9, Grand Hotel Stockholm letterhead, October 13, 1936. Letter to theatre director Erwin Kerber. In part (loosely translated): “Yesterday I received enclosed letter to which I respond with a request that E[bert]. [The theater director and director Carl Ebert] with Busch [the conductor Fritz Busch] disputes and telegraph me the result of intelligent.” A mild shade of toning, and several rusty paperclip marks to left of signature, and a few light wrinkles, otherwise fine condition.
