<B>Bruce Springsteen</B></I> <B><I>Born to Run</B></I></B></I> <B>Promo LP (Columbia Advance Promotional, 1975).</B></I> We've offered a promo copy of The Boss' breakthrough album before, but this was an earlier promo, sometimes referred to as "The Script" cover owing to the cursive lettering that was later replaced for the final version of the cover. The white label's different, too, as you can see at our website. Rather than a prominent "Columbia" the label has "Advance Promotional." Included is a timing sheet taped to the inside of the gatefold cover, blank except for the neatly printed "Born To Run" and "Bruce Springsteen" filled in. Also included is a spec sheet titled "Album Cover Copy And Mastering," which does list the song selections and production information. Very nice copy of a rare Boss artifact.
