Printed ''gold stripe'' membership card signed by ''Bruce Lee'' as President of his first U.S. martial arts school, the Jun Fan Gung Fu Institute. In 1959 Lee began teaching martial arts in the United States while an undergrad at the University of Washington, founding his first school, Jun Fan Gung Fu (literally Bruce Lee's Kung Fu) in Seattle. This evolved into his most well-known school of martial arts, ''Jeet Kune Do,'' also known as ''JKD,'' which he founded in 1967. Front of card has ''Jun Fan Gung Fu Institute'' printed in both English and Chinese. Also with a red and gold yin/yang symbol defining the school's philosophy, ''Using No Way As Way / Having No Limitation As Limitation''. Card measures 3.75'' x 2'' and is blank save for Lee's signature. Fine. With a COA from Taky Kimura, a former student of Lee's who became head instructor of Seattle's Jun Fan Gung Fu Institute: ''I, Taky Kimura, state that Bruce Lee, my late and great friend…signed this Jun Fan Gung Fu Institute Card…I have had in my possession for over 40 years…''
