Original 3.5'' x 2.5'' Jun Fan Gung Fu Institute “gold stripe” student membership card signed by Bruce Lee as President. Circa 1965-1967. Card bears Bruce Lee’s Jeet Kune Do logo incorporating the ying/yang symbol with his motto, “Using no way as way, having no limitation as limitation,” in Chinese. These blank, signed cards were often sent from Lee to Taky Kimura, who ran Lee's dojo in Seattle, to fill out and distribute to members. Kimura was best man at Linda and Bruce Lee's wedding in 1964 and one of the pallbearers at Bruce Lee's funeral nine years later. Accompanied by Certificate of Authenticity from Taky Kimura. In part, “I, Taky Kimura, state that this business card was given to me by the late and great Bruce Lee, my close friend and teacher…this…card is an original card…it has been in my possession for 40 years.” Fine condition.
