A striking Raku-fired pottery vessel by California artist Bruce Fairman, signed and dated 2002 on the underside. This rounded, lidded-form vessel - presented without its original lid - is finished in a richly iridescent copper glaze with cascading blue, violet, and green feathered drips near the top. The surface exhibits the hallmarks of Raku technique, with a lustrous metallic sheen and organic, smoke-fired textural patterns throughout the lower half. A dramatic decorative piece with strong presence.
