Browning superposed special series Belgian made 410 and 28ga over/under 2-barrel set with exhibition quality features. Serial #047F72. The gun shows factory added sideplates, select European finished burl-wood stock, straight pistol grip, checkered butt, chiseled and pierced release lever, highly engraved action with scenes of bird shooters on each sideplate, surrounded by banknote scroll engraving and chiseled acorns on top of action with satin grey finish, signed on both plates “Vrancken”. The barrel addresses are also finely engraved in script, as is “Made in Belgium”, patent information, gauge, and special steel marking. The 28ga barrels are 27-2/8” in length, showing a non-ventilated milled rib, with single trigger, auto ejector, choked **/**- (Modified over Improved Modified). The 410 barrel measures 27-7/8” showing an identical raised matted rib, choked Full and Full. The gun measures 15-1/4” from the trigger to the end of the checkered wood butt. The floorplate beside the trigger is signed “J. Bearten”. The gun remains in fine to excellent condition, 99% to new, just some slight firing, almost no use. In European type luggage case. Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries.
