Browning Model 1885 single shot rifle, 45-70 cal., 28” octagon barrel, blue finish with gold 2002 Friends of NRA gun of the Year ornamentation (354 of 875), deluxe checkered wood stocks, sling swivels, #01071MY371. This gun is in overallpristine condition showing little handling; in addition to above-noted gold ornamentation on the right side of the receiver, there is a gold ornamented game scene of elk on the left side of the receiver. The wood stocks have a beautifulflame grain and fine factory finish, in original factory two piece black cardboard box with instructions, gun lock, etc. and the box is numbered to this specific gun; accompanied by a beautifully framed and matted large color Friendsof NRA print of an elk herd in the woods, approx. 30” X 39” entitled “Hesitant Harem” by Gary W.
