Included in this lot is a Browning Challenger II .22 LR pistol. This beautiful early production Challenger II features a 6 ¾” round blue’d barrel chambered in .22 Long Rifle. The Challenger II began production by Browning in 1976 and ran for a short period of time until 1982. The serial number on this firearm indicates a manufacture date of 1977. The right side of the of pistol is marked “22 Long Rifle – Made in the USA” and the left side is marked “Browning Arms Company – Morgan, UTAH U.S.A. & MONTREAL, R.Q. CANADA”. The firearm utilizes highly polished walnut grips inlaid with bronze “B” medallions. The trigger on this pistol features a stunning gold plating and incredibly light trigger pull. "259-42-4003" is etched into the front strap near the serial number. The pistol comes with a single 10 round magazine. Serial Number: 655RR01869. This is a modern firearm and requires a FFL transfer or NICS background check.
