The cover reads, "Containing, in addition to the usual matter, Portraits of several of the most distinguished American Politicians and literary Men of the present time." The original price was "1 shilling." The book is filled with entries for every day. On November 2, the entry reads, "<I>Went to town meeting. Dem vote 173 - Fed vote 202.</B></I>" Very interesting and researchable.
