Brooklyn Arms Co. spur trigger pocket revolver in original factory box, .32 cal., 3” round barrel, blue finish, silver plated engraved frame, wood grips, #8254. This gun is in overall fine condition showing approx.92% original silver plating on the brass frame and brown patina on barrel assembly and cylinder with “Slocum sliding sleeve” cylinder loading devices which were an attempt to circumvent Smith & Wesson’s use in their revolvers of the Rollin White bored-thru-cylinder patent; good bore, crisp action; fine grips with some wear and spots of loss to the finish. The box is in overall good condition with considerable taped repair to the sides of the box and lid; complete interior compartments and fine company label on inside of lid announcing “Slocum’s Patent “Side-Loading” Revolver, Manufactured by Brooklyn Arms Company, Brooklyn L. I., NewYork”. A rare find with the box and an overall fine example of this model. Est.: $1,000-$2,000.
