</font></strong>This lamp is absolutely incredible! A vintage find from either the 40's it is in perfect working condition. We have been told (by the original owner) that this is a Rembrandt lamp but can not confirm that because this piece is unmarked. Standing an impressive 53" tall this was made when homes had extremely high ceilings and for someone who wanted to impress their guests. The body is cast iron with bronze outer areas for the details and scrolls and 2 areas coated with a creamy white paint. The bronze has a lovely reddish patina. The paint is also perfect with the exception of 2 small places (we tried to show with pics but they are very small) where the paint has worn. The upper area has 5 scrolls that stand 6 1/2" high from which the crystals hang. The crystals have a small round crystal and a large teardrop hanging below. The 5 smaller crystals (these hang on the inside) measure 2 1/4" and the remainder of the crystals measure 3". There is a milky glass shade that reflects up and is in perfect condition. We also have seven extra light bulbs that are 3 way lite and the boxes are marked Commonwealth Edison 102/204/306 watts and the light bulb box is marked C-5PPs25. The socket is quite large, especially compared to today's lighting. It measures 1 3/4". There are 2 different switches on this lamp, one at the back of the base and another on the upper socket. The finial is in perfect condition and is either a double music scroll or a harp. We can't decide. The shade has some tears ...
