"Mercury, the Messenger" Copied from the Antique housed in the Barbarini Gallery, after Giambologna, by the 'Fondeur' Ferdinand Barbedienne (1810 to 1892) Circa 1865, and listed in the Barbedienne Catalogues of 1865-66 In Excellent Condition, with No repairs or Dents. Original Warm patina, Not Waxed or Over-painted. Excellent Impressed Signature and Markings. Please note from the Photos that this piece still has it's Original "Fig-Leaf" that can be displayed, or removed to display the,... well.., It's still with it after all these years. Very Rare to find it still intact... (the Leaf) Many time it's been Lost, or Crudely replaced. 35" High 8" Wide 13.5" Deep
