Twin bronze bookends depicting Abraham Lincoln as he appears in the Daniel French-designed statue at the Lincoln Memorial. The bookends, made by famed metalware company Jennings Brothers in the early 20th century, are stamped on the back ''J.B. 2440, D.C. French''. Bottoms are felt-lined and have the original Jennings Brothers label. Each measures 7.25'' high x 4.75'' wide x 4.35'' deep and weigh approximately six pounds. Some patination to the bronze and a small chip missing from the plating on one. Overall near fine condition.
