We are pleased to offer a magnificent 19th century greyhound after the French sculpture Mene. Surprisingly this design was used by the Ansonia Clock Company around 1880.
This is a large rendition of this magnificent dog with his bandaged leg in the air and the dog examining the bandage.
Below is the bowl and towel used to wash the wound.
Truly a magnificent piece. In excellent condition. Original patina.
