Galeria Valeria was the daughter of emperor Diocletian. She married Gallerius when he was promoted by Diocletian to Caesar. While Gallerius persecuted Christians, Galeria Valeria was a sympathizer, and was eventually canonized as a saint. At the death of Diocletial, Galeria Valeria was to be cared for by emperor Licinius. Licinius, however, ordered the death of Galeria Valeria, an act carried out in 315 A.D. JC-30101-152 JC-30252
