The present bronze candlestick was made ??in Turkey of the Ottoman Empire in the 18th or 19th century. The candlestick consists of two screwed parts, and has a broad base that tapers to a slim baluster.
The piece is in good condition, showing some usual wear due to age. The height is 71 cm. The diameter of the mouth is 5.6 cm, and the base measures 21 cm in diameter. The bronze candlestick has an overall weight of about 2.6 kilograms.
